Why...
Millions of cats & dogs end up in shelters each year. There are many reasons for this. Only about 1/3 of these animals make it into adopted homes, foster programs or rescue groups. The statistics are not always that accurate. Most shelters work on a shoe string, and do not have it in their budget to provide 'comfort items' for the animals in their care. Animals in shelters sleep on a cement floor with no bed or blanket. They have nothing to raise them up and off the cold hard concrete. These animals are usually confused, frightened and lonely. When you place a bed or blanket in with them, they will curl up and find comfort or security. This provides a sense of warmth, love and human kindness. Our goal is to make a positive loving difference and touch them indirectly. Please help us help the animals. Wish List
